Meet the Fast Food Bros.

Who?

Amad and Jwad Hassan, the Fast Food Bros have a prolific history in creating and growing food businesses. Not just any type of food business but fast food ones. This sub set of the retail food industry presents it’s own unique opportunities and challenges, and the Fast Food Bros are unique in that they have seen it all and overcome the odds to be successful in this industry where many try their hand and fail.

Meet Amad

Amad is all about the business. Not just in food, Amad has his fingers in many pies and has a very keen business sense. He has a knack of taking any business and growing to scale in a very short period of time. However, due to his father, a massive influence in his life, his first love has always been food. Working with his brother, Jwad, they have opened, sold and created a multitude of fast food businesses.

Meet Jwad

Jwad is all about food. Since a young age he took after his father in being able to ‘taste with his fingers’ he has that magic touch and the ability to break down flavours and understand what makes a great dish. His passion for food ensures that whatever project the Fast Food Bros are involved in the quality of the food never suffers. Jwad looks to put in place systems and processes within businesses that retains consistent quality and taste. Afterall the quality is the life blood of any food business.

Why Fast Food?

The number one benefit of fast food is the ability to serve at volume without the headache of fine dining and all the trimmings that are required. When we think proper sit down eating we are inherently increasing the number of operations and costs. We have to deal with plates, cutlery, cleaning them, table service, expensive chefs, a limit in how many people can be served by the number of covers you have. Fast food skips lots of these issues and more. The locations you can set up fast food establishments is very varied and less constrained. With the proliferation of online delivery platforms like Just Eat etc this lends itself very well to further increasing exposure. If nothing more ‘the pandemic’ has shown how vulnerable restaurants have been while takeaway establishments have thrived.

Upbringing

Born and bred in the UK, the Fast Food Bros know what the British palette likes to eat. Their father came to the UK in the 70’s and like most Asians came with very little. Through hard work and plenty of sacrifice he worked and established a number of food establishments. From London to St Albans he was well known for his cooking and quality of food. The Bros learned all they could from him whether that was the commitment and hard work it requires to be successful, to actually learning about cooking and food. His guidance has always been at the centre of what these brothers get up to and they attribute all their success to him.

Lifestyle

Success has many rewards and The Fast Food Bros like to work hard so that they can play hard too, so that they can enjoy those rewards. Again that is one of the beauties of the fast food industry is that if you get it right and employ good people you can have some freedom to travel, to enjoy, to be inspired and to experience cultures and cuisines. It allows The Fast Food Bro’s to go back to their roots and appreciate what real village cooking is like.

Knowledge

After spending many years in building and creating a variety of fast food businesses The Bros have picked up lots of knowledge and understanding of food businesses from top to bottom. Whether it is the obvious things like sourcing ingredients and working with suppliers to more detailed things that most don’t understand or think about like factoring in energy consumption into pricing or packaging, where and how to find great employees, these guys have seen it all. They have made mistakes, they have learned and they have the knowledge in how to create fast food businesses that make money from day one and that go on to turn over five figure sums weekly.

Opportunities

In the last year The Fast Food Bros have consolidated their offering and started to build out distinct brands in the niches they operate within. For their Peri Peri and fried chicken brand they have created Hench. With their smash burger concept they have Brim. For their fish and chip offering they have Arlo's. With their kebab dark kitchen brand they have Shaku Maku. In the second quarter of 2021 they will be launching their newest brand in a sector of fast food primed for massive growth in the UK.

It is about building brands now

The Fast Food Bros are now taking what they do to the next level. This beyond the food element and the business ingredient. It is about creating and growing brands. A brand transcends the functional offering that any business delivers. Building brands is about creating loyalty, taking one concept and putting it into any town or city in the world. By having a brand behind you, the opportunities for growth becomes limitless. For a consumer a brand give assurances, a sense of familiarity and something they know and love. Working with some of the brightest minds in the country who have developed some of the major international food brands, the Fast Food Bros bring you everything that you need and will show you how to grow a fast food business and brand.

What can The Bros. do for me?

If it just advice and a friendly chat, these boys are always open to conversations and freely give out information. If what you are after is more tailored to a project that you are working on and require some dedicated consultancy The Fast Food Bros can look after you. Or if you want to reap the rewards of having a fast food business but don’t want to go through the process and heartache of learning it all, you can take on any one of their brands and franchise it out. They will be there to support you on every step of that journey and they have the secret sauce in what it takes to build your business without the stress that comes with starting something from scratch.

Charitable works

Ultimately, there is only so much any person can enjoy in this world. The Fast Food Bros know through their hard work and God’s grace that they are very fortunate. So naturally the boys want to and need to give back to society. To their roots and to those who require help. The boys are very active in their communities and are always finding ways to help those who need it. In this vein the next big project is to open a youth community centre in Hertfordshire for the under privileged through their charitable foundation.
